The Louisville Zoo has been hard at work to make sure that they can confidently keep everyone safe and social distancing. Today they announced that they will be reopening for members on June 12th and June 26th for the general public. All guests must reserve a timed and dated ticket online (No additional cost to members).
The Louisville Zoo is working with the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness to ensure they follow the latest health and safety guidelines. Here is what you need to know:
There will me signage and animal markers on the ground with guest service representatives stationed throughout to encourage social distancing
High touch areas will be disinfected frequently
All staff will be wearing masks
Guests age 5 and over are encouraged to wear masks
Some areas will be unavailable initially including indoor areas, attractions and playgrounds.
All bathrooms will be open with step and pull or touch-less access
