Here is a list of all the free Halloween events in and around Louisville!


Full disclosure that all of these events are free to attend, however some of the events may sell food or other things so make sure you bring some money if you plan on eating or adding on to your experience! FREE Treat Bags in October at Chuck E. Cheese

All October long, get a FREE treat bag when your child visits in costume or when you buy an All You Can Play card of 30-minutes or more. The treat bag includes a rechargeable play band, Chuck E. Cheese sticker sheet, Halloween stickers, candies, a spider ring and special offers on Halloween movie rentals at home from Warner Bros.

Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat from 1-4 pm

October 10th, Located in 40291


Bicknell Park, New Albany, Indiana

Who will be crowned the rightful Pumpkin King?! Bring your already carved Jack O' Lantern. The top 10 Jack O' Lanterns will receive a prize. Pumpkins must be turned in by 6:30pm. The first 100 kids will receive a kid's activity page. Park opens at 6:00pm • Movie starts at Dark

“Family Circles” will be painted on the grass. *8 people per circle.*

You will need to check-in at the gate. We ask that each household stays within their circle to promote proper social distancing. We will have limited spaces, circles will be given first come first serve. This event will abide by CDC guidelines & we ask the same of our patrons! Movie attendees should monitor their own symptoms and should stay home if they are not feeling well. October 16th at 6:30


Charlestown's first annual Monster Mash Halloween Bash parade will kick off on Saturday, October 17th at 6:00 pm. The Parade will travel from the Charlestown High School Parking lot, down Park Street and onto Market, where it will turn again onto Main and end on the Charlestown Square. Families are encouraged to get creative and dress in their Halloween best, and line Market Street to check out the floats and collect candy. Social distancing between families and the wearing of masks while in the proximity of others, and while traveling to and from your spot on the parade route is highly encouraged.

Our Spooktacular this year will be a drive-by trick-or-treat event in the lower parking lot of Wendell Moore Park, in Buckner. Families are encouraged to decorate their cars - we have a prize for the best! Join us on Sunday, October 18, from 4:00- 5:00 pm.

October 24th, 11am-3pm in LaGrange, Ky

Please join us for Halloween MAINia! There will be trick-or-treating at participating shops and booths from 11am - 3pm. The costume contest for all ages and pets will begin at 1pm. (Please come early to register.) There will be activity booths sponsored by local organizations and our very popular Candy Swap Shop! Brought to you by the La Grange KY Main Street Program and your local Downtown La Grange Merchants. Hosted by Rainy Day Resale.


October is here which means Halloween is but weeks away. All are invited to a Trunk or Treat at Holy Angels Academy on October 24! The event is free and open to the public. We will have a Car Show with new, classic, and custom cars for everyone to check out. Fun safe candy stations will be available for children (preschool and elementary). Children are encouraged to wear costumes, no scary or inappropriate costumes please.

October 24th, Located in Corydon, Indiana from 6-7pm


Trunk or Treat is a FREE event for the whole family. We get that in 2020 everything looks a little different, but that doesn't stop the party from happening. This year's Trunk or Treat will be a drive-thru experience. Families can drive through and safely see all of the decorated trunks. Each child will receive a bag of pre-packaged candy. There will also be a fun scavenger hunt game to play while you drive through all of the fun!

October 25th, from 2-4pm Located in Jeffersontown


The Annual Trunk or Treat will be different this year. Families will drive through the Candy Crawl path set up in the Church Parking Lots to receive candy and treats.

October 25th, 6-7pm, Located in Crestwood, Ky


Bring the kids in their costumes for a fun evening of activities!  Face masks are encouraged for adults, and we will be practicing social distancing.  A hot dog dinner will be served , and we will have games, crafts, a costume parade and contest, along with raffles and prizes.  And each child will receive a bag of treats!  This event is open to the community, so invite your friends and neighbors. 

October 25th, From 4-5:30, Located in Prospect, Ky


ANNUAL BBC FALL FESTIVAL Trunk-R-Treat, Candy, & Fun!

October 25th, Starts at 5pm, Located in Crestwood

Looking for a safe and fun place for families to come together and trick or treat? Come and hang out on Friday, October 30th as we host Trunk or Treat Theater on campus. There will be many fun and creative cars and goodies for the kids to enjoy. After some good time trunk or treating, we’ll enjoy a family-friendly movie together! Nothing like a little Hotel Transylvania, popcorn, water and time to eat all that yummy candy to make for a fun, energetic evening together! The fun starts at 6pm. We'll have a trunk or treat for families looking for a place to take their kids this year. We'll have candy, games, music and - the best part - 50% off all carwashes if you show up in

costume!

October 31st from12-2pm Located at Gaslight Square Pavillion in Jeffersontown

A great alternative to the traditional trick-or treating. Children dress in costume and trick-or-treat along Historic Gaslight Square and participate in activities at the pavilion.
