Events All Month Long


Safe, socially distanced trick or treating event for kids 11 and under

The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular began in Oxford, Massachusetts in 1988. The Louisville event, celebrating its 8th year in 2020, is held in Iroquois Park with 5,000 carved pumpkins illuminated at night as an “art show”. The show runs daily from dusk to 11 p.m., weekdays(Sunday-Thursday), and closes at midnight on Friday & Saturday at Iroquois Park. Now a Drive-Through event


Louisville Mega Cavern presents Mega Zombie Zips! Zip through the cavern while experiencing an immersive, chilling and terrifying zombie experience. Mega Zombie Zips feature six underground zip lines, including a spooky fun filled dual racing zip, two challenge bridges that will test your skill, balance, and mettle, this tour is guaranteed to get your heart racing and your adrenaline pumping. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind Halloween zipping experience, Mega Zombie Zips is for you.

The lights go down and DJ Munch turns it up with a mix of high-energy music videos to get the party going! For just $14.99 per child ($19.99 Canada), get 30-Minutes of All You Can Play, an upgraded “Glow” Treat Bag that also includes 3 glow bracelets and glow tattoos (no registration necessary, purchase at the register upon arrival). And, every hour on the :30-minute mark, DJ Munch introduces Chuck E.’s Boo-Tastic Dance! Kids can add more candy to their Treat Bags with “touchless” trick or treating at the end of the show, at our gift shop and at Kid Check exit.

Mr. Munch, Chuck E.’s resident Alien-Monster delivers a spooky line-up of Halloween entertainment, including music videos and shorts from Chuck E. Cheese and other kids’ favorites! Every hour on the :30-minute mark, Mr. Munch introduces the all-new, Chuck E.’s Boo-tastic Dance! A Chuck E. Cheese cast member will lead the dance with the kids, encouraging them to maintain social distancing.

All October long, get a FREE treat bag when your child visits in costume or when you buy an All You Can Play card of 30-minutes or more. The treat bag includes a rechargeable play band, Chuck E. Sundays in October from 10am-3pm

From the depths of Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory the ghosts and goblins have awakened to welcome the 5th Annual Home Run Halloween. This year the spine-tingling excitement happens every Sunday in October. No ghouling around. Every Sunday will be spooktacular because kids dressed in costume receive a special Halloween mini-bat at the end of the factory tour and receive a pre-packaged bag of candy.


Wilstem Fall Festival of Lights will be a one and a half mile Halloween and Fall themed light show! Available Saturday September 26th, Sunday September 27th, and daily October 2nd through October 31st from 7-9 pm. Cost is $25 per vehicle! $2 processing fee NOT included.

Drive-thru events have become a popular way to enjoy our festive times of year, especially the past several months. It all started with drive-thru Christmas light displays, but now your family can enjoy some spooky fun at this Halloween lights drive-thru event in Kentucky. It’s hosted by Fort Boonesborough State Park and it’s a unique way to spend an evening in October. This is a popular campground for its Halloween festivities, but you can also get in on the fun by attending the drive-thru event as a guest.

Oldham County History Center's "Candlelight Cemetery Walks" in the Valley of Rest Cemetery on Thursdays October 8, 15, and 29. Cost $10 per person, children under 4 free. Each tour is one hour. 2 tours per night. 6pm – 8pm. MUST pre-register by calling (502) 222-0826

Hocus Pocus Halloween Weekend October 9th at 4pm-11th at 12pm

The Haunted Forest opens its gates for four weekends this season. Each cabin/campsite will get two free admission passes to the Forest. Loads of fun and plenty of spooks! Arts and crafts and activities as usual, Pumpkin carving, costume contest and campsite/cabin decorating contest! Halloween campers are known for competitive decorating, outdoor cooking and having a good time. Prizes awarded for first-fifth places in campsite/cabin contests. Don’t forget candy for the trick or treaters (approx. 450-500 kids)!

Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat from 1-4 pm

Spend your afternoon with your loved ones making special art work together! All tools and supplies provided along with instruction. Artwork will be available for pick up after firing in the kiln. Young children need to be accompanied by an adult.

Who will be crowned the rightful Pumpkin King?! Bring your already carved Jack O' Lantern. The top 10 Jack O' Lanterns will receive a prize. Pumpkins must be turned in by 6:30pm. The first 100 kids will receive a kid's activity page. Park opens at 6:00pm • Movie starts at Dark

“Family Circles” will be painted on the grass. *8 people per circle.*

You will need to check-in at the gate. We ask that each household stays within their circle to promote proper social distancing. We will have limited spaces, circles will be given first come first serve. This event will abide by CDC guidelines & we ask the same of our patrons! Movie attendees should monitor their own symptoms and should stay home if they are not feeling well.


Halloween Events on October 17th, 2020


Charlestown's first annual Monster Mash Halloween Bash parade will kick off on Saturday, October 17th at 6:00 pm. The Parade will travel from the Charlestown High School Parking lot, down Park Street and onto Market, where it will turn again onto Main and end on the Charlestown Square. Families are encouraged to get creative and dress in their Halloween best, and line Market Street to check out the floats and collect candy. Social distancing between families and the wearing of masks while in the proximity of others, and while traveling to and from your spot on the parade route is highly encouraged.

The Sunfish Pumpkin Regatta will be a two-day regatta that will provide competition regardless of your experience level. We hope to have twenty boats on the line. Dinner will be served following the day's racing. There are club sunfish available on a first come bases. Camping on the club property is available. Please contact Eugene Cox (coxeugene@att.net) if you need to reserve a club boat.

Halloween Events on October 18th, 2020


Our Spooktacular this year will be a drive-by trick-or-treat event in the lower parking lot of Wendell Moore Park, in Buckner. Families are encouraged to decorate their cars - we have a prize for the best! Join us on Sunday, October 18, from 4:00- 5:00 pm. This is a free event.

Who: Midtown MOPS Moms

What: This week we will be making a fun Halloween Craft (specific project TBA)! We will provide the supplies, all you have to do is register and show up!

Where: Gateway Park in Clarksville under the pavilion (rain or shine)

When: Monday October 19 @ 12pm OR Thursday October 22 @ 6pm

- Masks will be required unless socially distanced - We will provide adequate spacing between people - Registration is required for headcount and materials

Weekend Long Halloween fun for all ages, Located in Charlestown, Indiana


Park and watch Disney's "Hocus Pocus" movie in the parking lot. Family fun in a safe & healthy outdoor setting!

• Tickets: $25 per carload available ONLY on Eventbrite; no ticket sales at the door • Gates open at 7 p.m. Movie starts at 8:15 p.m. • Park and watch "Hocus Pocus" in the main parking lot • Cars in every other space • Bring chairs to sit in space by driver’s door or watch from your car • Sitting on vehicles or in truck beds is not allowed • Sitting in back of SUVs is allowed • Bring your own food and drink • Activities Building restrooms will be open • Masks & social distancing required at restrooms • Attendees to remain at their car/space per state regulations for this event unless visiting restrooms • Proceeds benefit the Tom Sawyer State Park Foundation • Presenting sponsor Norton Healthcare



Halloween Events on October 24th, 2020


11-3pm Drive-Thru Trick or Treating Located in St. Matthews


11am-3pm in LaGrange, Ky

Please join us for Halloween MAINia! There will be trick-or-treating at participating shops and booths from 11am - 3pm. The costume contest for all ages and pets will begin at 1pm. (Please come early to register.) There will be activity booths sponsored by local organizations and our very popular Candy Swap Shop! Brought to you by the La Grange KY Main Street Program and your local Downtown La Grange Merchants. Hosted by Rainy Day Resale.


October is here which means Halloween is but weeks away. All are invited to a Trunk or Treat at Holy Angels Academy on October 24! The event is free and open to the public. Trick or Treat through NULU at our Annual Nightmare in NULU!! Participating businesses will be safely passing out candy from Muth's Candy on Saturday, October 24th from noon til 4pm to kids in costume! Enjoy a day in NULU this Halloween season with safe Trick or Treating, Shopping, Dining and more!

Park Community Credit Union and FEAT of Louisville present the 2020 Drive Thru Trunk or Treat for individuals with special needs.

4-6pm, Located at 2515 Blankenbaker Parkway


Barren Heights is teaming up with Critically Loved to help provide a fun event for the whole family. No tricks- just treats! Volunteers from participating nonprofits will be hosting and decorating a trunk and handing out candy. After you have received your candy, there will be a pumpkin booth, where your family can take home a pumpkin and decorating supplies. We can’t wait to see everyone there! This event will be a real TREAT! Please note: Safety is our top priority! Cars will be distanced in the parking lot and we will only have one family per trunk at a time.

We will have a Car Show with new, classic, and custom cars for everyone to check out. Fun safe candy stations will be available for children (preschool and elementary). Children are encouraged to wear costumes, no scary or inappropriate costumes please.

Halloween Events on October 25th, 2020


Trunk or Treat is a FREE event for the whole family. We get that in 2020 everything looks a little different, but that doesn't stop the party from happening. This year's Trunk or Treat will be a drive-thru experience. Families can drive through and safely see all of the decorated trunks. Each child will receive a bag of pre-packaged candy. There will also be a fun scavenger hunt game to play while you drive through all of the fun!

The Annual Trunk or Treat will be different this year. Families will drive through the Candy Crawl path set up in the Church Parking Lots to receive candy and treats.

6-7pm, Located in Crestwood, Ky


Monsters, Inc.

Children and Youth Families are invited to join us for Tailgate Movie Night on Sunday, October 25. Parking lot will open at 6:30pm with movie starting at 7:00pm (movie is 1 hour and 23 minutes long). Registration is required and capacity is limited. We encourage you to bring your own food and treats. Bathrooms will be available, and masks are required if you leave your designated area. There will be no distribution of treats but costumes are welcome. We will also have a pumpkin decorating contest.  You can bring 1 pumpkin decorated by your family to be judged, and there will be prizes! Opens at 6:30, Located in Middletown, Ky


Bring the kids in their costumes for a fun evening of activities!  Face masks are encouraged for adults, and we will be practicing social distancing.  A hot dog dinner will be served , and we will have games, crafts, a costume parade and contest, along with raffles and prizes.  And each child will receive a bag of treats!  This event is open to the community, so invite your friends and neighbors.

Looking for a safe and fun place for families to come together and trick or treat? Come and hang out on Friday, October 30th as we host Trunk or Treat Theater on campus. There will be many fun and creative cars and goodies for the kids to enjoy. After some good time trunk or treating, we’ll enjoy a family-friendly movie together! Nothing like a little Hotel Transylvania, popcorn, water and time to eat all that yummy candy to make for a fun, energetic evening together! The fun starts at 6pm. A great alternative to the traditional trick-or treating. Children dress in costume and trick-or-treat along Historic Gaslight Square and participate in activities at the pavilion.

Come aboard for a scary good time on the Mary M. Miller! Bring the whole family to do the Monster Mash, give us your best zombie impression during our Halloween candy walk and have a spooktacular time cruising down the Ohio River! Adult tickets are $35.99, senior tickets are $34.99, children’s tickets are $14.99 and kids four and under are free!


Corydon LIVE’s stage is transformed to a haunted house and all the fun begins when the curtains open. Featuring guest performances by: Christy Miller, Clinton Spaulding & More.
